If you have been asked to verify your booking, you have the following two options.
- Express Verification – is the quickest option, as it uses facial recognition technology provided by our partner GetID. To complete the process, you will need to have the Ryanair booking reference code, your passport or National Identity Card, and a device (phone, tablet, or laptop) with a camera to hand. You will be asked to pay €/£0.59c to cover the cost of GetID’s facial recognition technology. Ryanair does not benefit commercially from verification fees. Once verification is complete, you will be asked to amend the email address on the booking to ensure Ryanair can contact you with important flight information. - Standard Verification involves submitting a picture of a completed and signed Customer Verification Form together with a picture of your passport or national identification card (provided it contains your signature). We will then compare signatures on each document to ensure they match. This process can take up to 7 days, but we will prioritise bookings with the earliest departure date to ensure you are verified on time for your flight. This service is provided free of charge. Once verified we will email you (no later than 3 hours before your scheduled flight departure time) with instructions advising you on how to check-in online in accordance with safety and security requirements.
