Ryanair Prime

Ryanair Prime is a membership programme offering benefits such as exclusive flight discounts, free reserved seating, and travel insurance for Ryanair Prime members. These members will be able to select Ryanair Prime companions who can enjoy some of these benefits.

Ryanair Prime membership is a once-off payment of €79 for 12 months. Ryanair Prime is not available for monthly membership payments. This fee might be increased if Ryanair Prime companions are added to Ryanair Prime.

Ryanair Prime membership lasts for 12 months from the date of payment.

Only passengers aged 18 or older with a valid myRyanair account can join Ryanair Prime.

From 1 December 2025, new Ryanair Prime memberships will no longer be available for purchase. Customers who join before this date will continue to receive their membership benefits until their individual expiry date.

Yes, assigned Ryanair Prime companions can independently use most benefits, but the Ryanair Prime member must handle their bookings. All correspondence for flights booked will be sent to the email of the Ryanair Prime member.

Ryanair Prime members can reserve up to 12 free seats for them and 12 free seats for their Ryanair Prime companion in designated rows on specific flights over the course of their membership. If no designated seats are available, random seat allocation applies.

No, Ryanair Prime members will only be able to book flights departing during the 12-months duration of their subscription. Any unused benefits cannot be refunded or carried over beyond your membership period. 

The payment method used for the initial Ryanair Prime membership will be securely stored by our payment partner Elavon.

Yes, you can cancel anytime through the Ryanair Prime section in your myRyanair account. Benefits remain active until the end of the current term, unless you cancel during the 14-day cooling off period.

The fee for Ryanair Prime is non-refundable unless cancelled during the 14-day cooling-off period or when a member decides to terminate the subscription as consequence of some unilateral changes made by Ryanair on the service.

You can cancel within 14 days of purchase to receive a full refund if no benefits have been used. If some Ryanair Prime benefits have been used, the refund will be adjusted dependant on the benefits you used.

Ryanair Prime memberships do not renew automatically. Your membership will automatically end after the 12-month term.

Once the reserved seating allowance is used up, only the Basic fare will be available for new bookings.

If you need to make changes to your maiden/ married name on your Ryanair Prime account and or booked flights made using Ryanair Prime, please contact us on chat or on our website. You’ll need to have proof (i.e. copy of your marriage certificate).

Ryanair Prime bookings can include infants (1 infant per adult on the booking to a maximum of 2), however, infants are excluded from the Ryanair Prime benefits.

Minors (2-15 years) cannot be added to an existing adult’s booking (as they are not allowed to travel alone and are not a Ryanair Prime member), however you can create a new adult booking for them and link it to your original booking so you can travel together. Note that the minor must travel accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
