Ryanair Groups

Groups is a specialized service for group bookings of 15+ passengers.
Our experienced Groups Team can organize corporate events, school and sporting trips as well as hen and stag parties.

Advantages of Ryanair Group bookings:

  • Name flexibility: 50% names required halfway between the booking date and departure date and the remaining 100% of passenger names are required 14 days before the outbound departure
  • Same fare for all passengers
  • 60 day early check-in
  • Allocated seats for everyone in the group

Important Group Information

A group booking must consist of a minimum of 15 passengers, with a maximum limit of 189.
Once you receive a quote, it is valid for 5 days (subject to fare, seat, and flight availability).
The deadline for making group bookings will be 14 days before departure of the original flight.

How to request a Group Booking

  1. Fill out a group booking request form and we will be in touch with a great value quote
  2. If you accept your quote you will be placed in a queue and we will call you to process payment and confirm your booking
  3. Once full payment has been made over the phone, your booking will be confirmed and you'll receive a confirmation email

  4. Please note that “Click to accept” does not confirm your quote. You must click "Ready to pay" and confirm your payment

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking. Your booking is only confirmed once full payment has been made.
We accept Visa/MasterCard/ and American Express. We unfortunately do not accept Maestro, PayPal or Bank Transfers.

You must pay fares, taxes, fees and charges in the currency of the country of your airport of departure.
For your convenience, we accept up to 5 payment transactions per group booking.
Please be aware that we do not send out invoices for international flights but you can use the E-ticket for invoicing purposes.

Passenger Names

50% names required halfway between the booking date and departure date and the remaining 100% of passenger names are required 14 days prior to departure.
Once names have been submitted, or within 14 days of outbound departure, a name change will cost €50/£50 per person per sector.
To submit passenger names, you need to click on the link that we provided you with the when confirming your booking and enter in the passenger name and specify the passenger type (adult, teen, child, infant).

Children and Infants

At the time of booking, the entire group is booked as passenger type ADULT. Once you confirm the names, the passenger types will be amended to the relevant group, TEEN/CHILD.
For group bookings including children, we require 1 adult to every 24 children per booking.
Infants (aged 8 days to 23 months) can be included in a group booking. For full details on travelling with an infant, click below.

  Bag Options for Group Customers

Small Bag

This small bag (40x20x25cm), is included for every customer. Each passenger can always carry a small bag on-board, which must fit under the seat in front of them, regardless of the fare type. For information on our bag policy.

Bag Policy

10kg Check-in Bag

Our 10kg Check-in Bag offers a cheaper checked bag option, and allows customers to pack more liquids and walk to the boarding gate 'hands free.'
Customers will check-in their 10kg wheelie bag  at our bag drop desk prior to entering security.
To add the 10kg Check-in Bag, you can request this using your case number through the groups department.

Pricing information

20kg Check-in Bag

Our 20kg Check-in Bag provides you with extra room in your suitcase so you can pack all of your necessities and more!
Each passenger can purchase up to 3 checked bags of 20 kilos. Customers will check-in their 20kg Check-in bag at our bag drop desk prior to entering security.
To add the 20kg Check-in Bag, you can request this using your case number through the groups department.

Changing a Name

If you require a name change after all names have been confirmed, we recommend you request this change through the groups department. The name change fee costs €50/£50 per person per sector.

In order to make a name change, please contact the groups department through your case number or via chat.
You can also make name changes via Ryanair.com but web fees will be charged.

Changing a flight or date

If you wish to make changes to your flight or date of travel, changes can be made with an additional flight change fee and any applicable fare difference, through the groups department or you can self-serve on Ryanair.com.
 

 Adding / removing passengers within a booking:

Extra passengers can be added at a later date if you wish, however the same fare will not be guaranteed and the passengers will be given their own reservation.
In regards to booking a child, it's not possible to add a child under 16 to an existing flight reservation, however you can make a new separate reservation if you wish and link the bookings. Click below for details on linking a booking.
